What We've Accomplished

Olivia’s Healing Paws was born from a deep desire to provide comfort to those facing the sudden and overwhelming pain of loss. Inspired by the love and companionship I shared with my beloved Olivia, I wanted to extend that same warmth and support to others in their time of need.

So far, we’ve had the honor of donating 30 grief boxes to individuals experiencing sudden loss. Each box is thoughtfully designed to ensure that those who receive it have everything they need to create a meaningful moment of remembrance. The box includes a candle, complete with a label providing space for the family to write their loved one’s name, allowing them to focus on that as they light the candle. Alongside the candle, there’s a heat-resistant plate and matches, so the process is seamless and thoughtful. The box also includes a Rainbow Bridge bracelet as a symbol of hope, a heart stone for soothing, and a journal and pen to capture thoughts, memories, or simply to express grief. My goal was to ensure that everything in the box was ready for use, so that those grieving wouldn’t have to worry about anything other than honoring their loved one.

Our journey didn’t end there. I took this mission further by visiting North Carolina’s Lake Lure, home to the symbolic Rainbow Bridge. At this peaceful location, I donated 50 Guardian Grief bracelets to veterinary offices, offering solace to those who had lost their pets.

Understanding that grief isn’t limited to the loss of pets, I expanded Olivia’s Healing Paws to support those who have lost loved ones. We created three specialized bracelets within the Guardian Grief collection to honor their journeys. These bracelets are more than just keepsakes; they serve as enduring reminders that love continues, even after loss. To help those in need, I’ve placed 50 of these bracelets in hospital chapels, making them available for anyone who seeks a small reminder that they are not alone.

Olivia’s Healing Paws continues to grow, driven by a commitment to ensuring that everyone who faces loss finds a source of comfort and connection. Through our grief boxes and bracelets, we hope to bring light and warmth to those who need it most, just as Olivia brought to my life every day.
